Data Expert was founded in 1995 to serve in Human Resources and Training areas, when these concepts were not even heard in Turkey. The company started its activities with a staff of 10 people, in Gayrettepe.
Data Expert is a 100% Turkish capital corporation.

Hasan Altunkaya, the founder of the company, served many years as a manager in IT industry  and based on the observations he made during this time, he started Data Expert to supply the human resources deficiency in Turkey. Data Expert started as an IT specialized company ; later on included many other areas, such as finance, construction, retail and law, to its service units and became the strongest HR consultancy company in the country.

In 1997, Ankara branch was opened and in 1998 the head office was moved to its current place in Balmumcu.

In 2002, aiming to expand the Human Resources implementations in Turkey, Data Expert opened local offices in Antalya, Bursa, Denizli and İzmir.

Data Expert carried its services to an international level in 2005, by joining ISG- the International Search Group – network.
