for their needs. This simple and effective method consists of 8 main
steps as ;

Stage
1: Briefing
Analyzing the client's needs
DATA EXPERT's consultants work with the client's executives
and human resources department to determine the work force needs
of the client in compliance with the forecasts and vision
Analyzing the candidate Profile
DATA EXPERT's consultants compile a job specification
for the position in question. This includes the description
of the client, presentation of the vacant position as well
as determination of the key competencies, professional and
personal expectations from the candidate.
Customizing the strategy for search&selection
Together with the client, the strategy for Search & Selection
is defined, based on the candidate profile and discussions.
Data Expert offers a variety of models for Search & Selection:
- Direct Search :
This special methodology is mostly applied for Executive vacancies
and Key middle-management positions. The target industry and companies
are searched for talented professionals. The high quality network
connection of DATA EXPERT is also used for ensuring the best result.
- Advertised Search :
Modern (Internet etc.) or Traditional (Newspapers etc.) media/advertising
channels are used to announce the current vacancy. The partner
company DATA EXPERT MEDIA creates and develops the advertisement
layout and texts for the customer needs.
- Database Search :
DATA EXPERTâ??s giant talent database consisting over 400.000 professionals' profiles
is searched for the vacancies. This methodology is mostly applied
for mid-level positions.
- Combined Search :
Two or more of the above methods are being used for ensuring the
best result.
Stage
2: Search
Searching Capacity
The searching process is done by DATA EXPERT's highly educated and industry/position
experienced senior consultants and their team of professionals. Each vacancy's
search is conducted with a team of Senior Consultant, Assistant Consultant
and Researcher. Industry Specialized partner leads the project and acts
as the contact person for the client. However the project team can be expanded
depending on the needs of the client.
The Search
After determining the needs of the client and the methodology for Search & Selection
the search starts. Depending on the position and the methodology the
search step usually takes 1-2 weeks of time. However the searching process
takes up to 1-2 months of time for senior executive positions.
Stage 3: Pre-Interview
Telephone Interviews with the possible profiles
The telephone interviews are conducted with possible profiles found on
the searching stage. Our senior consultants conduct the telephone interviews
with the possible candidates to check their availability as well as checking
their appropriateness for the position and the client.
Stage
4: Interview
Interviews with the selected profiles
Face to Face Interviews are conducted with the successful profiles selected
during the telephone interviews. Our senior consultants select the most
suitable talents for client needs. During this stage psychometric tests
and additional tests (English etc.) are being applied to the candidates
if needed.
Stage 5: Shortlisting
Shortlisting
The best match talents are shortlisted for presentation to the client
. Mostly the shortlist consists of the best 3-4 talents matching the
client needs.
Stage
6: Presentation
Presantation of the candidates
The shortlisted candidates are presented to the client's executives/managers
with the interview notes of the related senior consultant. The time frame
for shortlisting usually takes 2-3 weeks of time for mid-level positions.
Time frame expands to 1-2 months for executive positions.
Last Selection Process
The client interviews with the presented profiles in order to make an
evaluation and finishing the recruitment process. If the assignment
is an executive position industry specialized partner joins these interviews
to ensure the best result.
Stage
7: References
Reference Check of the selected profiles
After the presentation stage of the process,
our senior consultant checks the candidate(s)'s references
of his/her past relevant experience. Reference checks
are conducted with strict confidentiality. Usually 3
reference checks are conducted for each candidate. The
references are selected from candidate's old employers/managers/clients.
The reference forms of the candidate are being sent to
the client at the end of this stage.
Stage 8: Filling
Placement of the selected profile
After the reference forms are passed
to the client, our senior consultant helps the client at the negotiation
process between the client and the candidate. Last controls and candidate's
willingness is checked again to ensure the best result.
